Here it is day 4 of Goodbye Loretta. I am feeling very positive. Loretta is still keeping her head down. She likes to wait until about the beginning of week 3 of the plan before she starts to throw her weight around. I'm ready for her, though. I know she will want to give in to that dinner invitation with friends, Loretta wanting to try to squeeze herself into some article of clothing that no longer fits. She will whisper softly how wonderful it would be to dine out at one of her favorite restaurants, sipping a martini, indulging in an appetizer, devouring an entree which happens to be enough for 3 people to eat, and, of course, delighting in dessert. Loretta is all about that type of behavior. She will be a little miffed when I tell her we will NOT be going out to any fancy restaurants. At least not right now. This 'plan' is not one of deprivation, we just have to make some real headway for now. Loretta will get over it. She has no choice.
We had a terrific dinner this week. Spicy Orange Beef with Veggies. It was truly delish. Just enough beef, just enough sweet, and just enough heat. Loretta even liked it. She didn't think she was even on a plan. Fooled her fat ass!
